beautiful rich bright gilt decorations on bright embossed green and black cloth. ffep is missing which causes the first couple of pages to be a little loose otherwise the book is tight and sound; a couple of numbers on a blank page, pages and edges are little browned as a result of age;minor edge wear and corners bumpes and a little frayed ; however the imperfections hardly distract from a very attractive and rare book. In 2006, Rare Reads published "The Heeey Baby Days of Beach Music" which received a bronze medal from The Independent Publishers Association. Long sold out, copies of the 13 pound tribute to the musicians who created the unique R&B genre are occasionally available on ABE. The book was a collaborative effort of Rare Reads and many others including the musicians that created the sound Southerns term "Beach Music." Rare Reads is considering future publications in addition to expanding its online enterprise. Rare Reads is operated by Greg Haynes and son Reid Haynes and has warehouses in Atlanta and Athens, Georgia.
