ISBN: 0936071923. Approx dims: 215mm h x 130mm w x 11mm d. Intact clean condition pictorial paper wraps and colour illustrated dust jacket with slight creasing, rubbing and signs of handling. Intact spine. 176 clean inside pages of English text, no inscriptions. Image shown is actual book for sale. Synopsis: In this fourth novel, Fearn continued the same heady mix of headlong, free-wheeling adventure. Ethel Wilson, daughter of the Controller of the Dodd Space Line, accidently discovers a cavern of pure diamonds (created by volcanic action) in the Venusian jungle. But before she can notify the Earth authorities and the Amazon of her find, the secret of its location passes into the hands of Emiliam Voltique, the Leader of the native Venusians. Given the superhuman nature of the Amazon, Fearn was obliged to create unique villains to serve as worthy adversaries and Voltique was a classic example.
