I lived in Argentina for a couple of years in my youth and although I traveled widely in the country I never got to the arid regions of its northern provinces. Reading through this book I clearly missed something special. I am pleased to offer: "El Alma del Norte The Spirit of the North" with text by Ana Ines Figueroa and photography by Jasmine Rossi. Perhaps if you buy it, you won t make the same mistake as I made. This large hard cover book (9 ¾ x 12 ½ inches 232 pages) was published by Ediciones Lariviere of Buenos Aires dated 2007 and the First Edition (so stated). The book is bound in warm green boards with white titles on cover and spine and protected by a high-glossy pictorial dust jacket. The book is bilingual with all text in both Spanish and English. The book is lavishly illustrated in color throughout including a few key maps of the area. Condition: This book is in very good condition. There is some minor edge wear to the upper margins of the dust jacket. Otherwise, the book is without blemish to the hard covers or the interior. The binding is tight and sound.
