This book ends with 15 pages by Peter Blake entitled 'Behind the Scenes' showing his inspiration, model and locations, etc, etc. In the Original brilliant blue cloth with gilt bordered pictorial onlay to the upper board. Gilt titling to the spine. No dust-jacket as issued. One of 500 Special SIGNED, LIMITED copies that are numbered and SIGNED by the Illustrator Peter Blake. THIS COPY is Numbered 222 of 500 ONLY. The covers are clean, bright and tight. Looks Un-used. The corners are sharp. The book is now protected by a new clear - removable - bookfilm plastic cover. The pages are as issued and clean, tight and bright. The text block is tight. NO Inscriptions or marks - apart from the Illustrator's Signature and the Limitation numbers. No foxing. The closed page edges are fresh and white. SIGNED by Peter Blake to the limitation page. There is also an integral clean, bright, yellow ribbon bookmark.
