64 Pages Dell Book #22. Stapled binding. This book is complete and tight. The pages are age-tanned but not brittle. Some page corners are turned up. The covers show some wear particularly at the spine. The front cover lists only Alibi for Isabel however the title page has both Alibi for Isabel and The Lipstick -- two stories of Suspense and Murder unabridged. Alibi for Isabel first appeared in Good Housekeeping. Rinehart was born in Pittsburgh and was a nurse in her youth and has often used a hospital background for her stories. A writer at age of 15 she sold her first magazine story for $34. By 1944 she had published 60 books.
