Item description from seller

pp. 31. 12mo., measuring 19 cm. Twice-stapled, self-wrappers. Sections include: Why Our Age Has A Liquor Problem; What Happens When Met Get Drunk?; Can The Body Make Use of Alcohol?; Social Aspects of the Liquor Problem. Clean, and unmarked; near fine. See OCLC #882112050. Not found in McGill. This pamphlet presents the material gathered into a previous work by the same author, The Verdict of Science on Alcohol. That earlier work was not published until it had been endorsed by the foremost authorities representing physiology, psychology, and sociology. But in this pamphlet the material is set forth in a style which, while it avoids technical expression, is quite as accurate as in the other form.
