This is the scarce 1946 first edition in lovely near fine condition for its age, marred only by light bumps on its spine ends, plus a trace of toning along its covers' top edges. "Copyright, 1946, by Random House" on its copyright page, with publisher's original "$2.95" price on its jacket's front flap. Its binding is sound and square, with no spine crease. Covers are unmarked and otherwise unworn, with no apparent fading or toning to the blue and gold titles on its front and spine. Pages are unmarked and unworn. Its dust jacket, now protected by a removable mylar cover, is the second state with the text on its front corrected to say "35 Science Fiction Stories" (instead of the erroneous "36 Non Fiction Stories" on the first state jacket.) It is in very good condition, whole and unmarked, marred only by toning along its edges and folds, with a slightly faded spine, and some traces of wear on its bottom edge, but otherwise bright and unworn. I will ship this book in a moisture proof zip-loc bag, padded in bubble wrap, inside a sturdy box to assure it reaches its proud new owner in the same condition as my description.
