Green cloth with white lettering and wonderful cover illustration. Light bump to head and heel of slightly sunned spine, light rubbing to lettering on spine. Corners rubbed and bumped. Text is clean and bright, no marks. Wonderfully illustrated throughout by Thomas Fogarty. Of his stories, the author himself wrote; the stories "helped make people understand and enjoy their lives a little more deeply and fully, by presenting the beauty of neighborliness, the richness of the quiet life, and the charm of common things.".
