An abridged English translation of Bouhler's 1933 biography 'Adolf Hitler: The Evolution of a People's Movement', issued here as the first volume of the 'Terramare Publications' series, under the editorship of Richard Mōnnig. Slim 8vo. 46pp stapled into slightly toned and dust soiled card wrappers. The wrappers are un-titled at the spine, but a former owner has neatly penned the text "Adolf Hitler". Illustrated with 21 photographs. A very good copy. The first English-language edition (abridged) of Bouhler's early biography (Hitler had been Chancellor for only one month when it was first published in March 1933). Bouhler joined the Nazi Party in July 1922 with membership number 12; he took part in the failed Munich Beer Hall Putsch and eventually rose to become head of the Hitler's Personal Chancellery. He was also the SS official responsible for the Aktion T4 euthanasia program that killed more than 250,000 disabled adults and children in Nazi Germany, and committed suicide after being arrested by American troops on 10 May 1945. Uncommon. [A light item, UK postage will be reduced]. Seller Inventory # BC18146
