With dozens of spectacular full-page and half-page photos, this 1938 Zeitgeschichte-Verlag book follows Hitler on his triumphant visit his old homeland in Upper and Lower Austria immediately after the Anschluss or reunification of Austria with Germany in March 1938. There is a foreword by Reichs Press Chief Dr. Otto Dietrich and photos of Hitler and Hermann Göring, Hitler and Reichsführer-SS Heinrich Himmler, with Reichsstatthalter Dr. Arthur Seyss-Inquart, Hitler and Rudolf Hess, Hitler at his parents grave in Leonding (photo left), Braunau am Inn, Linz, Melk, etc. Of course there are many, many photographs of the parades, ceremonies and huge crowds in Wien and the parade for Hitler after his return to Berlin.
