From the Author
Translated into six foreign languages, Achilles in the Quantum Universe has become something of an international bestseller.
The book does not deal with the mathematics of infinity, but rather with glimpses of the infinite as they are encountered in the real world. The concept of infinity in philosophy, in literature and in contemporary physics and cosmology is discussed.
