First Edition, bound in the original dark red cloth with gilt particulars and decoration to spine and title debossed to front cover. Referred to as a "lost race novel," this fantastical 1907 text explores the journey of an ancient Trojan who journeys to ancient Mexico. Pages are clean and unmarked. Contains four folding maps. Black-and-white illustrations throughout by William Lincoln Hudson. Boards are clean, with light wear to extremeties. Text block is clean. Binding is tight and square.
