About this Item

Green boards are well faded and rubbed. Edges of boards are severely damaged, particularly at the spine. Head and tail of spine bumped and heavily worn, as is the rest of the spine. Buckram loose. Altogether binding is sturdy, yet split at the free endpapers. Some pages uncut. Pages 43-4 torn at edge although not affecting the text. Free endpapers bear heavy staining. Title pages and contents lightly foxed at the edges. Previous owner's stamp on front free endpaper. Edges are discoloured and thumbed, else in fair condition. *We always describe the faults of our books meticulously; they usually present better than they sound. Seller Inventory # ART023
