Containing 106 illustrations, with 8 fold out pages. A fine copy, the binding square and firm, cloth clean and bright, with the contents clean throughout and free from stamps or inscriptions. In a fine slipcase, with some very light rubbing to the bottom edge. A beautiful art book containing over a 100 illustrations by Tolkien for The Hobbit, featuring sketches, drawings and maps, as well as alternative designs not seen in the final work.
