The corners of the rear cover are lightly rubbed. [24] pages, including 23 color illustrations on a black ground by Kate Greenaway. Printed by Edmund Evans. There is a previous owner's gift inscription dated 1889 on the half-title. Very good. First edition.The almanacs were advertised as available in calf or French morocco for $1.00 or in hand-painted covers for 75 cents and cloth for 25 cents.Rare in the calf binding.
