Near-fine with slight offsetting to front endpapers, otherwise bright and clean inside and out. In a near-fine dust jacket ($1.50 price intact) with a touch of wear at the spine ends and corners. A beautiful copy. Laid in is an original card from Harper & Brothers advertising similar titles. Although copies of the second edition of this title occasionally turn up, the first edition is extremely scarce and likely consisted of a very small printing.
