First edition hardcover in grey colored cloth with green and gilt spine and green galloping horse and jockey on frt board. Spine ends bumped, tips lightly rubbed but remain sharp. Hinge papers fine, no names tears or soil. Attractive vintage metallic bookstore sticker on foot of frt pastedown. 216 pp text is tight and bright. Unclipped original dj is sunned to an olive tone on the front panel and near yellow on the backstrip. Large chip at spine head took the T in The ABC of title. Jacket shows chips and closed tears but is now protected in new mylar with white paper backing so the voids are bright. Looks like the well loved first edition that it is.
