Item description from seller

Seattle: Aerial Phenomena Research Group, 1957. First Edition of the February, 1957 issue, Vol. 1, No.1. From the collection of UFOlogist Max Miller. Quarto, corner stapled legal paper, 6 pp. Mailing folds, mild age-toning; Very Good Plus or better. The premiere issue of the APRG Reporter, edited by the rising editorial star of UFOlogy, Robert Gribble, later to become NICAP director and editor of the NICAP Reporter. This publication itself later evolved into Interplanetary and then, in fact, the NICAP Reporter. Gribble's thoughtfulness, clear-sightedness and information-orientation gave his issues a value not found to the same degree in other publications of the genre in the fifties. The lengthy legal paper used in the A.P.R.G. Reporter gave him more room for more contributions, and by this time he did have contributors. Feature article in this issue is: Jim French's "UFOs Swarm Over Northern Midwest States" - the Dakota and Minnesota. Also: an editorial by Gribble, Lis'c Lagozzino's review of Frank Edwards hardcover title, Strangest of All; a lengthy review by Olavo Fontes' of the then-current and very active Brazilian sightings; "UFO Skims Over Delaware River"; "Mysterious Object Sighted in Sky Over Montana"; "Giant Disc Seen Over New Jersey"; and a variety of other shorts by Gribble, including more sightings. Serious output at a time in UFOlogy history when that direction was much needed and valued. From the collection of Max Miller, founder of Flying Saucers International and editor of its publication, "Saucers". L103.
