Gift quality 1st and only printing, undated (circa 1930s) paperback in cream colored card covers with a darling line illustration in green of two ponies grazing in a field next to a very large oak tree with thatched cottage visible in the background. Includes a two section fold-out map of the New Forest that has one tiny chip in the upper margin affecting none of the map, now mended with archival tape. Bound with slightly rusted twin staples, negligible surface soil on plain cream background rear cover, but no names or soil within the 48 p text. Includes 8 glossy full page b/w photographs displaying some of the important areas and features in the region. One alphabet letter for each topic in a charming ABC fashion. Seller Inventory # 14907
