This 9.0 x 12.0 inch, 24 page softcover book is a 1941 publication of this title with the front panel of the softcover wrappers showing a 50 cent price, an artists sketch of Lux Lewis playing the piano, and the listing of the five songs included - Answer to the Prayer, Bass on Top, Bearcat Crawl, Boogie Woogie Prayer, Six Wheel Chaser - and published by the Leeds Music Corporation of New York. This item is in very good condition with a bit of rubbing showing to the stapled very edge of the item - but beyond that the cardstock covers are clean and free of any markings - with the stapled binding still firm and a music store s stamp on the bottom corner of both the front cover and title page. The text includes a full-page black-and-white of Lux Lewis - with a full page of introduction to his music - and then the five scripted songs - with the back orange panel including advertising for further Lux Lewis and Leeds Music publications.
