Hardcovers, blue cloth covered boards, gilt lettering on the front cover, 6x9 inches, marbled endpapers, 102 pp. plus 2 pages of osteopathy related ads at the rear. GOOD condition, the covers have some light wear to the corner tips and spine ends, a couple half-dime size stains to the front edge of the front cover, and some sunning to the margins, but remain solid, with bright gilt titles; internally, there is light toning throughout, otherwise the pages are tight, bright, clean and unmarked. A nice, solid copy. RARE TRUE FIRST EDITION. This important work by an early female Chicago M.D. and D.O. was reprinted many times, but the first edition has become almost impossible to find.
