Item description from seller

First edition, first printing; Paperback original. "Dell First Edition", and "First printing August 1963" statements to the copyright page, .50c and code 7746 to the front cover. An anthology comprising fourteen short stories, three novelettes and one poem by great future-thinking creative authors including Frederik Pohl, Theodore Sturgeon, Isaac Asimov, Rudyard Kipling, Ray Bradbury, Hollis Alpert, Frank Herbert, Alan Nelson, and more. Interior title page art from the cover illustration. Each contribution is headed by a brief introduction. Exceptionally nice and very nearly fine, square, tight and firm in glossy stiff-card wraps with front cover art un-credited, but in the style of Richard Powers, lovely smooth spine with bright hot-pink and white titles, with a few minuscule rubs to the cover's fore-edge, all page edges still a nice green; printed code 7746 and .50c price still intact to the front cover. Mass-market paperback with No creases to the spine.
