Name and bookplate of Andrew Lang on front endpapers - sheriff clerk to Sir Walter Scott in Selkirk and grandfather to Andrew Lang (most notable for his collection of fairy tales and folk stories). More modern owner's name (1932) also on front free endpaper. Full calf binding, worn around board edges and corners; spine very worn, lacking title panels and any detail; small losses at head and foot with partial crack. Boards detached. Used - Good.
