Paperback. Loves. Drugs. Sexual violence. In "At the dawn of our new dreams", Samuel HUYS invites us on an intimate journey into the heart of personal darkness and towards the saving light of healing. Through a series of poignant poetic prose, a narrative style imbued with lyricism and raw honesty, the author reveals without restraint the darkest struggles of his soul: from the devastating influence of drug addiction, to the scars left by sexual violence and chem-sex, to the arduous process of self-reconstruction. This collection is a cry from the heart, an offering to all those who navigate the troubled waters of adversity. With skin-deep sensitivity, Samuel explores the abysses of human suffering, while testifying to a tireless quest for beauty and love in this chaos. Each piece of prose, like a fragment of a mirror, reflects not only the shards of a life marked by trials, but also the light of hope that persists in the darkness. Divided into four parts - from the depths of the abyss to the first glimmers of rebirth, through the discovery of vulnerability and the scars that tell our story - this book is a tribute to the indomitable spirit. Samuel's words, full of emotion and universal truths, invite deep introspection, offering comfort and inspiration to those seeking to overcome their own shadows. "At the dawn of our new dreams" is more than a collection of poetry; it is a beacon for lost souls, living proof that even in the darkest night, there is a path to light. Each page is a step closer to redemption, a reminder that no matter how deep our despair, the dawn is patiently waiting to welcome us into its arms. This item is printed on demand.
