Natalia, que hab�a hecho todo lo posible por asemejarse f�sicamente a Frida Kahlo, tras un agitado encuentro sexual se sent� en el tocador para desmaquillarse. S�lo que, contra su voluntad, la imagen copiada tres veces por las lunas frente a ella, tom� un delineador y procedi� a acentuar sus renegridas cejas. “Pasamos un buen rato �no? –le coment� risue�a Frida desde el fondo del espejo-- �Aunque he tenido mejores amantes! Por sobre la juventud, la experiencia…” Natalia se sorprendi�, pero sinti�ndose en confianza, no pudo evitar preguntarle a su reflejo: “�Qui�n era el mejor de todos? �Diego?” “No, claro que no. Diego era mi padre y tambi�n, en cierto sentido, mi hijo. Le gustaba alardear de su virilidad, pero en realidad le interesaban m�s su pintura y su actividad pol�tica. Por eso –agreg� con un gesto picaresco- yo ten�a que buscar compensaciones…” Platicaron hasta el alba como dos buenas amigas. Sin embargo, con el paso de los d�as, Natalia tiene ahora la sensaci�n de que sobre su voluntad se est� imponiendo la de otra persona, quiz�s Frida, por lo que busca ayuda psicol�gica y conf�a a su analista que “Desde hace tiempo, cuando tengo alg�n problema, me dirijo al Museo de Arte Moderno y me siento ante el lienzo de Las dos Fridas, las interrogo y llego a alguna conclusi�n. El vigilante y los escasos visitantes suelen verme con curiosidad [dos Fridas en el cuadro y yo enfrente, tres] pero generalmente estoy demasiado preocupada para que me importe. Me introduzco en el cuadro. Las dos Fridas est�n unidas por una vena que conecta sus corazones, el uno entero, el otro roto. La de la derecha lleva un vestido tradicional; la de la izquierda uno blanco, mucho m�s elegante. Parece una novia. La primera lleva en la mano una miniatura con Diego ni�o. Parece una madre, orgullosa de su hijo. La segunda sostiene con unas pinzas quir�rgicas una vena rota. �Cu�l es el sentido de todo esto? �Una ruptura, una separaci�n?... Un impulso muy poderoso me oblig� a volver a la pintura: El cielo sobre las Fridas amenaza tormenta… Fije mi vista en la novia: de su vena rota goteaba sangre, que ya hab�a manchado su vestido… y vi c�mo el l�quido se derramaba por el suelo y avanzaba hacia mis pies. You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good or the last lot or piece.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, electronically fill in and submit a clear statement on our website, under "My Purchases" in "My Account". We will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).

We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.

We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to BargainBookStores, Grand Rapids, Michigan, U.S.A., without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
