Boards with occasional light staining, the extremities a little bumped, some occasional rubbing including the to the spine ends, joints and edges, generally sharp. Upper edges gilt. Marbled endpapers. The bindings are firm, bar straining to the rear hinge of Appendix IV of the dictionary with cords visible. Clean of ownership inscriptions, with bright and unspotted leaves.
