Neuware - Sky-Hitching to Heaven, Experiencing the Fun Side of God is an entertaining book that includes thirty amazing experiences in which God intervened in unexpected ways. Mary has lived a life filled with thrills. Whether 'sky-hitching' across the country, whitewater canoeing, hiking, primitive camping, or cooking exotic multi-course meals, she sees God involved in the everyday and the extraordinary aspects of life. There's even a chapter involving a shopping miracle. During Mary's flight adventures, God showed her how to proceed at each hop. In one incident, God supernaturally revealed the missing digits of an ex-convict's phone number. In another, Mary had to believe God's revelation about how to handle an emergency in which her home was in danger of fire. Mary L. Gordon repeatedly sees God's humor in life, and she often reflects that humor in her writing. As her life evolved, Mary started to see how many times God showed up to bail her out of a tough situation or surprise her with a gift. Her chapter about coincidences is entitled, 'God-cidences,' (for instance). These stories are self-contained and provide short quick reads for anyone who needs a break or something pleasant to think about. They can also be used as a devotional. As you accompany Mary on her adventures, you may see how God shows up in your own life with encouragement and joy. Mary tells people that this is a 'fun read.' Everything in the book actually took place as she relates it. When these amazing things first took place, in her excitement she wrote details to several friends. Then to keep a record, she photocopied those letters before mailing them. That proved to be invaluable documentation for the reality of these experiences, regardless how wild they might seem.…
