The interior is clean and free of tears, chips and stains; paper is lightly toned but not brittle. Binding is very secure--staples are intact with no tearing of the cover at the staples and all pages are firmly attached; there is slight wear along the fold. Pictorial front cover is very clean and has virtually no wear--there is a small date stamped in ink to the right of Papa Bear's hat, and tiny bumps at the lower fore edge corner and at the bottom of the fold.
