In 4?(mm 233x155); cc. n.n. 441 di 442 (manca la carta bianca finale). Testo in elegante carattere corsivo, racchiuso dal commento in corpo minore. Con 3 splendide illustrazioni xilografiche a piena pagina e altre 84 nel testo attribuite allo stesso Marcolini, ottimo disegnatore nonchË amico di Tiziano e Sansovino. Solida legatura in piena pelle della fine del XVIII secolo; dorso liscio con titolo su tassello verde in oro, filetti dorati. Esemplare freschissimo con trascurabili segni del tempo alla legatura e piccoli restauri alla cuffia sup., spellature al piatto inf. e alle cerniere. Frontespizio con restauro al margine esterno e piccola possibile nota di possesso abrasa e restaurata; 14 carte + altre 8 con piccolo camminamento di tarlo nel margine interno in basso che non lede il testo; sporadiche e fisiologiche macchiette, sporco superficiale allíangolo inf. delle carte iniziali, qualche lieve alone marginale in alto alle prime due cc. e al margine inf. per circa 40 carte alla fine. Prima edizione del commento del Vellutello alla Commedia, per le cure del Marcolini, che segue a pochi anni di distanza i commenti a Petrarca (1525) e a Virgilio (1533). Magnifica e rara, molto ambita edizione veneziana del Marcolini, difficile da reperirsi in buone condizioni, proprio per la divulgazione popolare che ebbe. Ritenuta la prima illustrazione moderna della Divina Commedia, che serve da esempio per tutte le altre edizioni cinquecentesche, oltre ad essere tra le pi? ricercate edizioni dantesche del Cinquecento. Come descritto da Fische a p. 8, tre versi del Purgatorio (II, 64-66; segn V7r) furono originariamente omessi per errore e integrati in un secondo momento con tre linee impresse a mano: si trova in quasi tutti gli esemplari, sempre con inchiostrature diverse e allineamenti differenti tra una linea e l'altra o in orizzontale. Libreria Antiquaria Perini was founded in Como in 1968 by Carlo and Ruth Perini, who moved to Verona in 1970 and in 1972 based the gallery in via Sciesa 11. It's now ruled by Alberto and Marcus Perini, the second generation in this family-business, with the help of Marcus' wife Antonella. Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer you can withdraw from the contract in accordance with the following. Consumer means any natural person who is acting for purposes which are outside his trade, business, craft or profession.

Statutory right to withdraw
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good or the last lot or piece.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, electronically fill in and submit a clear statement on our website, under "My Purchases" in "My Account". We will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- The delivery of newspapers, journals or magazines with the exception of subscription contracts; and
- The supply of digital content which is not supplied on a tangible medium (e.g. on a CD or DVD) if you accepted when you placed your order that we could start to deliver it, and that you could not withdraw once delivery had started.
Shipping terms
Orders are usually shipped within 2 business days unless they require an export licence. Shipping costs are based on weight books. If your order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required.
