ENGLISH DESCRIPTION
An extraordinary family saga with the magic of Isabel Allende's The House of the Spirits.
Giacomo Casadio was a solitary man with a melancholic temperament, an even greater imagination, and the talent of visionaries. He had few friends, and by the time he was forty-five years old, he had never had a girlfriend. Until the gypsy woman crossed his path at a village festival. Giacomo had noticed her for a long time: she was tall, had a slender body, and black hair that went down to her waist. He had always avoided her, restrained by arrogance; but when the gypsy woman approached him, she read their future in the palm of his hand, and soon after, they got married.
With them, a family saga that will cover two centuries of history is born. Half of their descendants will be blue-eyed, fair-haired dreamers like Giacomo, while the other will have dark hair, black eyes, and the sensitivity of Viollca. All of them are protagonists in this intimate and epic story of a family indelibly marked by the dark and terrible prophecy that Viollca read in the cards on a stormy night.
