Foot of spine lightly bumped, lower tip of frt board has a rub, head of spine and four tips remain sharp. No former owner's names, no writing, tears or dog-eared pages, lightly foxed edge of page block, text clean w/an occasional light finger print. Original, price-clipped color illustrated dust wrapper is in very good condition with repaired chips and couple of creases at lower fore-edge but displays well in new mylar. The idea of this book originated from one or two articles in a Pony Club magazine. It consists of a number of hunting sketches, arranged in the form of a calendar. The author recreates the pleasures of a year's hunting, giving not only a fuller understanding of the best spirit of fox hunting as well as sharing a real appreciation of hound work through delightful pictures of the English countryside through the changing seasons.
