Red and black boards tight and straight. Corners sharp, inner pages crisp and unmarked. Decorative speckled red/blue page edges. Red/black spine titles bright and readable. Both volumes signed on rear limitaton page by illustrator Joe Mugnaini. "The Time Machine features six full-color full-page lithographs. "The War of the Worlds" has 10 similar color plates.
