Front hinge is exposed, but binding is secure. Previous owner's and Booksellers' stamps on front endpapers. Rear hinge is partially exposed. Frontis engraving of author with tissueguard intact. Some discoloration on endpapers. Interior is generally in very good shape with some yellowing of paper around edges and pencil highlighting of text. Some pages are lightly dog-earred.
