Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. Green blind stamped cloth over boards. Spine is tanned. Gift inscription on front endpaper. Some foxing throughout.

Hardcover. Condition: Good. Illustrated Edition. "The Works of Dean JONATHAN SWIFT - Embracing GULLIVER'S TRAVELS, The Tale of a Tub, Battle of the Books, etc." with a Life of the Author by Rev. John Mitford. 1856; Leavitt & Allen; New York. The book features a nicely decorated gilt spine and in-text illustrations. With "copious Notes" by W.C. Taylor. Condition: Soiling to the cover and spine. The top-right half of the back cover and the top edge of the spine have been chipped away/worn down. Small cloth tears at the bottom 2 cover corners. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. The pages have occasional foxing and alternate between white and age-toned at different places. Overall the book is in Good- condition.
