Condition: Very Good. Engraved book-plate. Measures about 3 ½" x 4 ½". Small autograph note and numerals in ink on bottom margin, very good. A fine allegorical library label designed and engraved by Worcester artist James Ross (1745-1821), student of the engraver Robert Hancock of Oldbury. An attractive, scarce example of Ross's… work in line engraving.
