Printed on Grosvenor Chater's Basingwerk Parchment at The Curwen Press. Original green buckram with a Ravilious design printed in black on the front cover. Rose and acorn repeat-pattern endpapers. In green cloth slipcase as issued. Illustrated with 421 full-size engravings, some folding, on 113 leaves. Cloth partially faded to grey. Spine ends gently pushed and with very short splits to the cloth towards the top of the spine. Contents clean and fresh.
