Also included is an A5 photographic portrait of the author and various advertising fliers and pamphlets for 'Scotia' a monthly periodical edited by David Morrison that published articles on nationalism, patriotism, literature, and works by Scots, English and Gaelic poets. A handwritten signed letter addressed from Morven View, Reaster, Lyth, by Wick, Caithness dated 13th Sept. 1971 from David Morrison to John Noyce of Smoothie Publications in Brighton consisting of about 180 words in which Morrison lists information concerning his publications in response to the photocopied typewritten letter from John Noyce who was compiling a directory of alternative media periodicals, which is stapled together with more details of the publication and a form which Morrison has filled in. David Morrison (1941 Ð 2012) was a librarian, poet, artist and founder-editor of 'Scotia Review'. He started the radical literary journal 'Scotia' in 1970; which was succeeded by 'Scotia Review' in 1972. He made his home in Caithness, where for many years he ran the Wick Festival of Poetry, Folk and Jazz. VG. Very good.
