Here is another book to add to the growing catalog of the books of the Derrydale Press which I have been listing of late. This one is titled: Wing Shots, by Albert Dixon Simmons. This large hard cover book (8 ¾ x 11 ¼ inches, unpaginated but listing 83 plates in the Table of Contents) was indeed published in 1990 by the Derrydale Press, in a limited-edition of 2500 copies. This book is bound in finely woven tan buckram with gilt decorations and titles on the cover and spine. Although the book is not leather bound like many of its contemporaries by the publisher, it is still a finely crafted work, including full gilt page edges and a yellow satin page marker bound-in. Laid-in is the cover letter from the President of the Derrydale Press and the invoice for this book for your further understanding of this high-end book club. Condition: This book is in near fine condition. The hard covers are clean, unblemished and unbumped. Inside, the book is unmarked and the pages and plates are clean and bright throughout. Both hinges are intact, and the binding is tight, sound and square. This book is not ex-library or a remainder.
