This collection feature twenty-two editions of Just William stories. Each volume is in the original cloth binding, with the original, unclipped dust wrapper. Just William was a series of thirty-eight books, published between 1922 and 1970. They were written by English author Richmal Crompton, who was best known for this particular series. William remained eleven years old throughout this time, with the era he was living in adapting as the years went by. All of the 'Just William' books were collections of short stories, with the exception of 'Just William's Luck', which was one story. In these stories, William Brown often had an adventure, using his confidence and his independent mind to take on any projects and games which came his way. There are often misunderstandings and confusions, with everything working out in the end, adhering to William's motto, "Doin' good, rightin' wrongs, spreadin' happiness and walking down the narrow path of virtue".
