Condition: good. (Old Books, Poetry, English Poetry, William Cowper, 19th Century Books). The Task, and Tirocinium: Or, A Review of Schools With Other Poems, by William Cowper. Published 1821, Philadelphia by Mc Carty & Davis.192 pages. Text in English. Engraved frontis portrait. Period 1/4 leather binding, smooth spine, gilt bands, marbled paper covers. Joints scuffed, but binding remains clean, tight, and sound. Book remains well preserved and attractive on the shelf. It displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, the age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
