A pair of works written by Sir Peter Markham Scott, a leading ornithologist, conservationist and painter. Scott was best known as the founder of the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust and for being the only son of the Antarctic explorer Captain Robert Falcon Scott.Comprised of the first ordinary edition of 'Wild Chorus' (1939) and the fourth impression of 'Morning Flight' (1939). Each of which is bound in the publisher's original cloth. In 'Morning Flight' and 'Wild Chorus', Scott details his extensive research in the field of ornithology, presenting his findings on bird migration, song, different species he encountered, and much more. Profusely illustrated by the author, with twenty coloured plates to 'Wild Chorus' and sixteen to 'Morning Flight' with numerous additional monochrome illustrations. Collated, complete. Bound in the publisher's original cloth. Externally, excellent, with very minor bumping to the spine head and tail and the occasional mark to cloth, heavier to 'Morning Flight'.
