Board. Condition: Very Good-. Illustrated by Constance E Rowlands (illustrator). Landscape 4to; illustrated board covers; front cover appears to have some light glue like markings; internally lovely and clean; final endpaper very creased. An unusual book produced by Wrights Coal tar soap, and drawn by Constance e Rowlands in the form of 16 illustrations with a caption under each one. It states 'It took nine printings to colour them' and suggests that the children trace them and then colour in their copies, matching the colours as closely as they can. Many of the pictures have animals, , children, fairies/butterflies, mermaids in them. It is a pretty book. ; Oblong 4to 11" - 13" tall.

Colour illustrations with rhymes below. Scuffing and marks to covers. Binding is a little off centre - possibly been repaired with glue at some point. Creasing to some page corners; couple of small nicks/tears. Page edge marks. Packaged with care and promptly dispatched!
