I am back to listing railroad related books and here is another of them (there will eventually be a lot of them listed), this one titled: "When Eastern Michigan Rode the Rails Detroit to Port Huron by Rail, Water and Road Book Two," by Jack E. Schramm and William H. Henning. This large hard cover book (8 ¾ x 11 ¼ inches, 224 pages) was published by the Interurban Press of Glendale, California as Special 105, dated Summer 1986, the First Printing (so stated). The book is bound in black board with gilt titles on the spine and protected by a pictorial dust jacket. The book is very well illustrated with vintage b&w photos of the various modes of transport in use at the time around Detroit. Condition: This book is in very good condition. The dust jacket shows some minor wear including a bit of edge wear to the upper edge and scuffing to the high points of the finish. There are the remains of a small label that was pasted over the printed price. The hard covers are clean and bright with some minor bumping to the upper corners and spine tips. Inside, the book is unmarked and the pages are bright white and clean throughout. Both hinges are intact, and the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder.
