Autobiography, told in the 3rd person, of Krebs journey from his youth in Samso, Denmark to becoming a Philadelphian chemicals magnate. Presentation copy inscribed by the author (to Jorgen de Wichfeld the Danish diplomat) and signed by him. This was probably one of a few copies Krebs had specially bound for presentation, there being an ordinary edition in cloth, copies of either are scarce .
