Undated, however published circa 1900.Full bound in the original publisher's handsomely decorated cloth.With a monochrome plate frontispiece and a monochrome plate illustration facing pp. 112, each depicting characters who appear in the book.What Katy Did at Home and at Schoolis a classic American children's novel by Sarah Chauncey Woolsey, published, as all her works were, under the pseudonym 'Susan Coolidge'. Set in a fictional town in lakeside Ohio, it recounts the adventures of a twelve-year-old American girl named Katy Carr and her journey towards self acceptance, kindness, and tidiness following an accident which leaves her bed-bound. Full bound in the original publisher's decorative cloth. Externally, generally smart with some cockling of the cloth, slight rubbing, and a touch of bumping to the head and tail of the spine and the extremities. Internally, binding is strained. Pages are a trifle age toned with some minor handling marks and mild spotting, with one small, slightly heavier stain affecting the bottom edge of pp. 53r-60v. Very Good Indeed. book.
