INGLESE Dizionario enciclopedico datato con mende del tempo e da uso: copertina tutta tela consumata agli angoli e scolorita in alcuni punti, diffuse macchioline da umido, dorso danneggiato con pieghe da lettura, strappi e mancanze parzialmente riparate con nastro adesivo, fioriture intense ai preliminari e ai tagli fortemente scuriti, cerniera anteriore riparata con nastro telato verde, mancanze ai bordi del risguardo posteriore, la legatura è debole a inizio e fine volume, pagine tutte ben leggibili e pulite. Il primo foglio delle carte geografiche presenti tra la pag. 544 e 545 del paragrafo "Gazetteer" risulta ritagliata ai bordi e attaccata al corpo libro con nastro adesivo, piccolo strappetto al margine superiore della pag. 545. N. pag. 1.418.

Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Textured black leather-like cloth on boards with gold title border to front and titling and geometric cross hatch pattern to spine. Thick book is tight, square, sharp-cornered and free of major flaws or markings inside and out - book is Near Fine. Fantastic bright color illustrations to endpapers along with multiple other full page plates - "The Pictorial Cyclopedia of Nature" has multiple color plates of birds, mammals, insects, flowers, trees, etc. Includes sections on geography, with maps, biographies of hundreds of famous people, etc. etc. etc. Gilt of tabs showing each letter or section bright.

Condition: acceptable. This is the 1941 edition. Significant shelf, storage or usage wear present that does not affect the readability of the book. No dustjacket included, as pictured.
