Moderne Künstlergraphik. Lithographie, 1978. Von A. Paul Weber. 25,5 x 26,5 cm (Darstellung) / 64,9 x 53,0 cm (Blatt). - Unterhalb von Hand signiert "A.Paul Weber". Unten links mit dem roten Künstlerstempel versehen. Im Stein nummeriert "19578". - Signifikante Arbeit des berühmten Karikaturisten. Erarbeitet in seiner typischen Bildsprache. Schöner Steindruck über Tonplatte auf vollrandigem Velinpapier mit Wasserzeichen Rives. - Leichte Lagerspuren. Fleck im oberen Randbereich ausserhalb der Darstellung. Insgesamt guter Erhaltungszustand. - - (1893 Arnstadt - 1980 Schretstaken / Mölln). Deutscher Lithograf, Zeichner und Grafiker. Schüler der Kunstgewerbeschule Erfurt. Erste autodidaktische Versuche in Lithografie. Im 1. Weltkrieg Soldat an der Ostfront. 1916 als Zeichner und Karikaturist bei der Zeitschrift der 10. Armee tätig und 1918 nach Spa versetzt. Gehörte dem nationalrevolutionären Kreis um Ernst Niekisch an. Wurde deshalb 1937 ein halbes Jahr inhaftiert. Zeichnete auch antisemitische Karikaturen. 1944/45 wieder Kriegsdienst. Nach 1945 in Schretstaken bei Mölln ansässig. 1971 Großes Verdienstkreuz und Ernennung zum Professor.
