Hard Cover. Dust Jacket. First Edition. First UK Edition. Publisher's green boards with black lettering to the front board and spine. Offsetting to both sets of end-papers and scattered foxing to the fore-edge with bright and clean boards, overall VG indeed. The first issue dustwrapper is priced 3/6 net to the inside flap (as called for by the the English Catalogue of Books for 1936). The dustwrapper has several minor chips at the head of the spine just affecting the lettering. Superb period cover artwork by the famous JFC (J F Campbell) of a man having his hair-piece and glasses snatched from his head by a beautiful woman wearing a long, black evening dress. A novel in the Four Series being the Fourth Exploit of Daphne Wrayne and the Four Adjusters. Photographs/scans available upon request.
