8vo in fours, pp. [ii], 56; without the half title; disbound. First edition, first state (with the errata list on p. 56, and all the errata uncorrected). This is a pamphlet commonly ascribed to Chesterfield writing in conjunction with Edmund Waller - but Gulick seems to imply that it is by Waller alone. Gulick pp. 225-6.
