Sheet Music. Condition: Good. Composer-Produced Copy. The composer's manuscript copy, later to be published in significantly revised form by Boosey & Hawkes (in 1954). A captivating Neo-Classical Theme and Variations structure, consisting of Tema - Allegretto non troppo; Variation I - Allegretto con moto; Var.II - Allegro; Va. III - Andante; Var.IV - Vivace alla Marcia; Var.V - Allegro assai; Var.VI - Andante sostenuto; Var.VII - Larghetto; Var.VIII - Tempo di Menuetto; Var.IX - Allegro Ritmico; Finale - Prestissimo. 18 pages. CONDITION: a quite worn copy (generally Good Plus overall), bearing the aging symptoms of the Ozalid printing process, with significant darkening, chipping, and edge-wear to its outer pages. This example was printed only on one side, each sheet containing two score pages. The Original page size appears to have been trimmed on the right side - likely to remove frayed edges. This true rarity is now in a clear, protective polypropylene bag with archival backing board.
